As you can probably tell, I'm working on a bathroom and kitchen renovation and I've become fascinated by tile and tiles stores in the Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods. There's variety of choices available to me, the consumer, in terms of stores and tiles - but that's generally the case in NYC.

There's been a lot of gentrification going on in the boroughs of Queens & Brooklyn over the past five to ten years. It seems to have hit a good stride lately and folks are beginning to upgrade their existing homes, and new homeowners are making changes to 'make the homes their own' by reflecting their aesthetic sensibilities and personal taste.

One of the things that's become quite fashionable is the use of quality tiles in various places in the home. The two most obvious destinations are the kitchen and bathroom where tile rules. But there's also other living areas including the living room and bathroom where tile floors, cabinets and wall facings can really upgrade a living space - as well as make quite an impression on guests.
