Free Things To Do in Brooklyn Summer 2021

So with only a month left before the summer of 2021 unoffically ends, there's still time to pack in a few more fun explorations of cultural events in Brooklyn. Almost every week, if not every week, there are street fairs or festivals in Brooklyn. And through August there are also a number of free summer concerts in Brooklyn, as well as free summer movies in Brooklyn neighborhoods. And one of the great joys of summer can also be watching a free outdoor theater performance or play by local Brooklyn theatrical groups.

So while the end of summer is not far away, there's still time to make more of it. Enjoy.

July 4th Fireworks Brooklyn & Farmers Markets Brooklyn

The year has been moving along. We seem to be moving past the pandemic, although there are too many of our fellow Americans who seem reluctant to embrace the science of vaccines, and could possibly torpedo things for the rest of us. But alas, we must go on.

Speaking of which, there are Brooklyn 4th of July fireworks viewable from all five boroughs this weekend, along the East River. And I just updated the Brooklyn farmers markets to reflect the recent seasonal openings. Enjoy.

Things To Do This Weekend in Brooklyn

This weekend there are a couple of church organized holiday markets. One is at St. Patrick's Church and the other is at Our Lady of Grace Church. Both have a couple of dozen vendors each selling artisan made arts and crafts and food.

See the Brooklyn Blvd web magazine for this story and others about Brooklyn.
