Things To Do This Weekend in Brooklyn

This weekend there are a couple of church organized holiday markets. One is at St. Patrick's Church and the other is at Our Lady of Grace Church. Both have a couple of dozen vendors each selling artisan made arts and crafts and food.

See the Brooklyn Blvd web magazine for this story and others about Brooklyn.

Halloween Parties Brooklyn NYC

FYI - Here's a list of a variety of Halloween Parties in Brooklyn NYC on Brooklyn Blvd / Gotham Buzz. It includes a number of selected parties for kids, adults and the culturally-minded.

The Brooklyn Halloween parties and events include Halloween parties at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, Fort Greene, Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Bushwick, Park Slope, Sunset Park, Brooklyn Heights and Bayridge. It's not a complete list as that would be a dauntingly spooky task, but rather a more selective curated list offering a range of Halloween party choices for Brooklyners living in various neighborhoods and of various age ranges and tastes.

Enjoy.

Ceramic Glass & Marble Tiles: Williamsburg Brooklyn Stores & Surrounding Area

As you can probably tell, I'm working on a bathroom and kitchen renovation and I've become fascinated by tile and tiles stores in the Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods. There's variety of choices available to me, the consumer, in terms of stores and tiles - but that's generally the case in NYC.

Anyhow, I found a tile store near Williamsburg, Brooklyn which offers a full line of glass, ceramic, marble, granite tiles in an assortment of sizes, shapes and colors and designs. Click the link to see more and haste la vista.
